Description

to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birth of motion pictures, Omas produced only 3890 of these limited edition fountain pens worldwide in 1995.
Crafted out of lovely pearl grey celluloid in honor of the original celluloid used in production and the black and white nature of old films, this Omas fountain pen comes in the original pizza film roll box.

The OMAS company was founded in 1925 by Armando Simoni and was shut down in 2016.

OMAS writing instruments have always stood out for their exclusive design, devised and created by OMAS entirely in Bologna’s workshop, bringing out the best of the typical characteristics of the Made in Italy style and representing a benchmark of Italian excellence and creativity in the Fountain Pen sector.

All OMAS pens have been handcrafted, in Bologna’s workshop.
Each writing instrument is the result of a multitude of delicate manual operations: it can take more than 100 stages to produce a Celluloid Fountain Pen.

In the last years of activity, Omas gradually decreased the production of writing instruments to further improve their quality.

With every one of these majestic pen lies a piece of Italian history.
