Description

The 75th anniversary writing instruments were released in 1999 to commemorate 75 years of the Meisterstuck range (launched in 1924). There were two main editions available, one being the unlimited yellow gold special edition pens and then the rose gold limited edition pens, of which only 1924 examples were produced. This is the delightful solitaire barley limited edition, which is crafted from sterling silver, with rose gold-plated trim. The iconic Montblanc snowcap is crafted from mother-of-pearl.

To distinguish these anniversary editions from the usual offerings, you’ll find a second gold band around the top of the clip, in which is mounted a diamond and the inscription ’75 years of passion and soul’ – with the diamond being the ‘o’ in passion.

Montblanc pens need no introduction. They are a real institution in the field of fountain pens. They were born in 1908, in Germany, when August Eberstein and Alfred Nehemias combined creative genius with a flair for business. The early years were quite difficult: the pens then did not have the characteristic clip and the clips were produced separately.
The year that marked the turning point for the German company was 1924, when the famous Meisterstück was born, which not by chance in German means wonder and which was immediately a great success.
Montblanc pens today are synonymous with excellence, elegance, perfection. Those who choose a Montblanc do not accept compromises and only want the best for themselves.
