Description

From 2003 to 2008, Montblanc has launched 3 pieces with hand-painted caps in each Annual collection, depicting 3 scenes that in 2003 correspond to:

Annual Edition 2003 Mythical Creatures Blue Lion (Ref. 7411)

Annual Edition 2003 Venetian Carnival Coviello (Ref. 7412)

Annual Edition 2003 Classical Myths Leda and the Swan (Ref. 7413)

These are exclusive fountain pens with caps made of the finest Meissen porcelain, decorated with hand-painted ornaments. The three series of patterns are inspired by the famous myths of classical antiquity, the magical atmosphere of the Venice carnival and the fascinating world of fabulous creatures.

Venice is the city of love, of countless canals and bridges, of splendid churches and palaces and yes, of the carnival. On a cold February morning, once the morning mists have fled the narrow streets and alleys, one finds the city in the waters of the lagoon transformed overnight into a strange sea of brightly coloured costumes and mystical masks.
