The origin of our vision comes from the origin of OMAS itself directly. Exactly 90 years ago, on June 15, 1925, Armando Simoni founded in Bologna Officina Meccanica Armando Simoni. Thus was made OMAS, workshop that would become in later years one of the most significant expressions of made in Italy and prestigious player of high-end writing instruments.
After 90 years of history, Omas celebrates its anniversary with a precious set of their finest collection : the celluloid Paragon Vintage designed long ago by the founder Armando Simoni! Entirely hand made by the expert Omas craftmen the 3 piston filling fountain pens are made in 3 celluloid colours: green saft, scarlet red and cigar brown.
Available in silver finish with odd numbers and gold trim with even numbers.

The OMAS company was founded in 1925 by Armando Simoni and was shut down in 2016.

OMAS writing instruments have always stood out for their exclusive design, devised and created by OMAS entirely in Bologna’s workshop, bringing out the best of the typical characteristics of the Made in Italy style and representing a benchmark of Italian excellence and creativity in the Fountain Pen sector.

All OMAS pens have been handcrafted, in Bologna’s workshop.
Each writing instrument is the result of a multitude of delicate manual operations: it can take more than 100 stages to produce a Celluloid Fountain Pen.

In the last years of activity, Omas gradually decreased the production of writing instruments to further improve their quality.

With every one of these majestic pen lies a piece of Italian history.
